Luxury Ceiling Design
In the entrance hall of Alex Papachristidis’ New York City apartment, both the walls and the ceiling are sheathed in a Lee Jofa linen. The print is by Walton Ford, the tole light fixture is vintage, the bookcase is antique and the mirror is Italian.
Custom Made Fixture
In the sunny villas of Capri, the dining room features custom-made ceilings by the Art et Floritude. Kursi-kursinya was by Boca do Lobo, the dining table by Patricia Urquiola for the Italian Glas and the lamps of the floor by Casamilano.
Rounding Out the Room
An ornate circular mold surrounds the room in this New York Hudson Valley House, decorated by Richard McGeehan. The 18th-century English Chippendale Sofa and a George II-style antique library chair are included in Brunschwig’s Damask & Fils.
With the help of designer Kelly Behun, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner covered the children’s room ceiling in their Upper East Side apartment with Sandberg’s wallpaper. Armchairs and vanity tables were created by Restoration Hardware Baby & Child, a mohair throw by Susan Chalom and her mirror by Marc Bankowsky.

In the children’s room in Southampton’s Beach house, the ceiling was painted at Benjamin Moore Aura in Rhododendron and Peachy Keen. Wood curtain painted in Benjamin Moore’s Satin Impervo in Onyx; The 1980-An table is by Milo Baughman, 1960-an Italian fiberglass chair and carpet by Missoni.
In the famous San Francisco house, the stunning walls of the dining room and the ceilings feature hand-painted murals. The Limestone dining table was created by Michael Taylor, and the chairs — also by Michael Taylor — were coated with cow skins by the Rose Tarlow Melrose House. French chandelier comes from Stéphane Olivier.
The San Francisco House, designed by Ken Fulk, features a master bedroom with custom-made ceiling plaster décor. The canopy is made with an 18th-century velvet panel and the bed is decorated with Pratesi linens.

A London townhouse boasts a dining room ceiling painted by Isabelle Day. The vintage chairs by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Maxalto surround a 1970s Paul Evans table. The pendant light is by Johanna Grawunder.
